Bright Start Early Learning Academy LLC “where learning starts early” offers safe, nurturing, quality care for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age, in a well-lit, loving environment that is tailored specifically for children and their development, by providing an age appropriate curriculum in conjunction with a realistic approach that will meet each child’s individual needs, via an array of programs lead by our professionally trained teachers and staff in early childhood education. Our programs offer a different, innovative curriculum designed to stimulate every child’s style of learning, via a play-based, child-centered approach. The play-based curriculum is a research based comprehensive method constructed to address all domains of learning and development as presented in the NYS Learning Standards, and is fundamentally linked and equally supports social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development as well as plays a critical role in supporting young children’s learning across all academic areas. All our instructional practices will be guided by the NYS common core standards which are designed to facilitate the gain of skills and knowledge that align with the Standards, and are developmentally appropriate, and which separate instructional practices based on the age and needs of the children. We believe by utilizing the play-based curriculum In conjunction with theme-based instructional Interventions we will make our classrooms and their activities more interesting to children, and this practice will assist them to build on previous experiences and make connections in their learning in an enjoyable way, as well as set the foundation for a life long love of learning.
