GRO Architects is an award-winning architectural design firm with a range of varying in scale and type. Our practice focuses on innovative and project-specific design solutions which privilege the use of new digital technologies throughout the design and building process including the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Our services include preliminary design planning, schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Additional services include interior design and visualization in the form of digital renderings. Recent projects include Jackson Green which is comprised of 22 single-family attached townhouses constructed using wood modular techniques. We recently completed new construction of a 56 unit multi-family residential building in the McGinley Square neighborhood of Jersey City, and an 96-unit eight-story building on Broadway in Bayonne. We have numerous multi-family residential projects in construction in Jersey City and Bayonne of varying scale, including a 122 unit micro-housing project that will be completed Fall 2020. In New York City we are in construction on a new 6 unit building in Brooklyn, and a 7,500sf private residence in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. We have several institutional projects in construction as well, including two new mosques that we expect to be completed in 2021, a renovation to the Jersey City Global Charter School annex, and a 125,000sf adaptive reuse and addition to an existing historic warehouse.
